The journey for the past one year has its ups & downs.

They went traveling to two countries together and a few local trips to the city. They had their sweet moments too within the year. They had several huge debates & a few small ones. They are sure that in most of the relationship, this can’t be avoided. The most they can do would be to minimise it. He has made a decision in life and he made very sure that she was included in the decision making process as well. They were happy to find 15-06 together.

A year ago, this is the day where this wonderful journey started. It happened during the Christmas day. A year later, again, he was trying to reenact what happened but he failed miserably. In return, a dinner with a nice band singing old melodies, a few Christmas songs, a group of drunk rowdy strangers & of course, they had the chance to witness his old friend tying the knot.

The two love birds had their vacation once again. This time courtesy from her. She successfully managed to close the deal for the month & as a result, she was awarded a hotel stay at Bali!

They truly had fun. Started the evening by watching some water sports activities, dipped & soaked themselves in a big fat pool & had a satisfactory dinner. The next morning was a sumptuous buffet breakfast & sea view enjoyment throughout the whole morning.

They left the vacation feeling recharged & still sleepy (perhaps lack of oxygen in the room). They are definitely looking forward to their next stay in Bali once again!

Beautiful Sea View

The time of the year has come. She has celebrated his birthday a year before but during that time, they were still buddy-buddy. Today is a different story after all.

It started with her singing a birthday song at exactly 12am. Unfortunately she has to work that day, but no worries. They met around in the evening where they had a drink in a local coffeeshop. Next, they went over to view a showroom. It is exactly their dream home. They are still figuring ways & means on how to earn that much amount to purchase that unit someday. We drove up north to view other units. Soon, it was time. She has to go to fetch her mum. She will pick him up later on.

Both of them met again at 7pm++ where she drove him up north to a secluded place which he has no idea of existence. It was a very cozy-natural-outdoor environment which he enjoyed very much. They had fish & chips, tiger prawns & tomato bread. She even asked the waitress to prepare a small birthday cake for him. That comes with a birthday song being played over the restaurant’s audio. The whole restaurant knew it was his birthday. He was not alone as there birthday song was being played 3 more times.

Last but not least, she gave him the last surprise of the day. His birthday present. A very stylish wallet for him. He has their picture in the front transparent compartment – always.

The day started at almost noon time for him. She was awake by then.

They had curry chicken as one of the dishes for lunch. After that, they went to Tubingen for some sightseeing. They managed to climb up a small hill to see a little castle up there. We spent some time there only & we parted ways after that. He followed the host to the airport to send the friends back while she went back to prepare an Italian dish for dinner.

A little sunflower was given to her to cheer up her day.

It was rest day for the first half of the day. Today would be the host’s wedding day. The morning was spent on relaxing, catching up with others. In between, we managed to catch up on some dance moves which would be applied later in the evening. The whole house queued up for shower & got ready in the end. We dressed our Sunday’s best & hit the road.

Restaurant Lago's View

It was a beautiful restaurant right next to a lake with a fountain. Relatives & friends came in by batches. Some helped around with the seating arrangements. The event started off with some light refreshment followed by a speech by the groom. The event stretched till to the early morning. Almost everyone was tired by the time we hit the road back home. Overall, everyone of us had a very interesting time to learn about the wedding culture in other parts of the world.
